GENERAL CONCEPT

2 PIN / 3 PIN / 3 WIRES

Ford generally uses two types of plugs for trunk lighting: 2-pin and 3-pin. This solution involves using a dedicated adapter for both. Additionally, some models have also used a LIN stereo, a three-wire plug, with which this kit is not compatible. Therefore, we recommend verifying the plug type used in your car before purchasing.

In most cases, Ford uses the old generation of trunk lights, so it is worth considering a comprehensive approach to illuminating the trunk with the LED generation, which provides better light and consumes less energy.
