The pockets of the front door panels should have the factory sockets ready to install door ambient lights. Ford releases plenty of series, so check if your door panel has such installation elements for pocket ambient lights.
The general concept of retrofitting the ambient lights in all passenger doors (front and rear) is based on extending the lights from the illumination of the window steering button. So, to use this method in the rear door, you need to have such buttons in the rear doors- in other cases you will not get the expected results.
